Staff selection commission (SSC) is providing an opportunity to grab a Central Government Job with just a 10th class qualification. The notification is release to recruit various group-c category multi-tasking staff (non-technical) in the central government offices of states and union territories. In this regard we will have a special focus on the preparation plan and recruitment process of this exam. Selection Process: The selection will be done based on the performance in the written examination. The written test contains two papers paper-1, paper-2.
Paper-1: Paper-1 is an objective paper. In Paper 1 the questions will be given in multiple choice formats.The questions are given in both English and Hindi. The questions may also be given in the local language as per the wish of the head of the commission. In this paper four sections will be there. In these 150 questions will be given. Each question 1 mark is allotted so total marks obtained for Paper 1 is 150 marks. The time given to mark these questions is 2 hours.

The respective sections must be practiced well by the candidate to secure good score in each section. Negative marking is also there. For each wrong answer 1/4th mark will be deducted.
Test for analysis:
General intelligence and reasoning section is to test the abilities of the candidate in analyzing the things. This test generally contains classifications, general math problems, figure classifications, relation concepts, decision making and judgment, discrimination aberration.
The English section is to test the basic knowledge of the candidate in English language. Most of the questions will be coming from the grammar. The questions will come from vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, sentence structure etc. Reading comprehension must be dealt carefully. So reading fast must be practiced which will help in comprehension passage.

- In General intelligence and reasoning, numerical aptitude sections at least 30 questions must be practiced from each topic in them.
- Model papers or previous papers must be practiced and must be solved.
- For mathematical problems shortcuts must be followed which will reduce a lot of time while solving in exam.
- The order of answering must be like this..first general awareness, general English sections must be answered because these two is weighted almost 100 marks.
Descriptive Test or Paper-2:
Paper-2 is in descriptive format. This Paper 2 will test the candidate’s language abilities and his expression of ideas and thoughts. In short essay writing and letter writing will be there. The essays will be given on the current burning issues or even the personal topics. In this section the candidate can also write the answers in his own local language also. This section contains 50 marks. The answers must be written in 30 minutes of time.This paper is only for qualifying purpose only.
